It all started with Syrup. Sweet Em came to the realization one day that everyone else was putting something on their waffles that she wasn't getting. Being very observant, she figured out what it was, Sup. After that, each waffle or pancake served was met with a request for "Sup".
But then, it evolved. Chicken nuggets needed "Sup", only this time it was ketchup. Veggies needed "Sup", really just Ranch dressing.
It wasn't long before all good things in life became "Sup". She would lead us around the kitchen pointing and asking for "Sup". She would climb on our laps during a meal, grab our fork and say "Sup".
Sadly, her language skills are now evolving so quickly that I fear "Sup" will soon fade away just like each little sweet baby milestone. It all so bittersweet.
That is why this blog is here, for the days when "Sup" is a long ago memory.
