My baby is one. Wow! That was fast. Honestly, it seems like yesterday that we were stopping at Subway to get Court dinner on the way to the hospital. Eight days overdue, I was so ready for him to be born! I was also determined for it to be the perfect, natural birth. Somewhere near the end, I gave in and cried for the epidural, only to give birth within minutes of getting it! Those first few hours postpartum were pretty nice, though. 😉
We had a hard start with the months of colic. Even old pros like us starting wondering if we would make it through. But we did, and now we are just so thrilled with our adorable little guy who loves to nurse, refuses to eat or walk and loves saying "uh-oh" to make his siblings laugh!
I do hope time will slow down and let us savor each new day with our darling golden boy.
