Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. We took advantage of being in between nursing babies and took a day to ourselves. The kids were well provided for with Looney Tunes and Domino’s Pizza.
We spent the day doing a few errands (gotta be practical!) and then walking the streets of Old Town, holding hands and stopping every 30 minutes or so for me to use a restroom. A little reminder that we weren’t really alone! We bought cigars (oh joy!) and used books. Then we went to dinner, shopped for that king size mattress we will REALLY be needing in a few more months, and finally, we went to a movie, No Reservations, for the first time in years! And it was a really sweet movie.
What a great day! Now, back to being Mom and Dad.
