It is still hard to believe that I am a grandmother! But sweet Baby Ella arrived this afternoon on her great-granddaddy's birthday. She is 7 pounds even and 18.5 inches long. It was a long labor for Alexis, but mommy and baby seem to be doing great. It was hard to leave the hospital, but I need to remember this isn't my baby. If you read this tonight say a quick prayer for the new parents on their first night of parenthood.
